UPDATE: Rizon emailed back and told me he is waiting for approval from FilmDistrict to hopefully sell these and he’ll let me know when and if he’s able to.
The poster images you see in this post come from Belgian, 3D designer and director Rizon Parein (official site) and it would appear he made them simply because “Drive screams for neon”. The work, in my opinion is not only stunning in its realism, he’s right, Drive does scream for neon.
I want one of these. In fact, I have already reached out to him to see if he is making prints available for sale. I’m also not sure if I would prefer the poster or the actual neon sign. Unfortunately, the sign doesn’t exist… yet… so I’d have to stick with the poster, but the banner above would certainly suffice.
Below are three more takes on the same image although decidedly different takes and I can’t decide from the three below which is my favorite, though I know the one above is my favorite of the lot. Makes me want to watch the film again.
