20th Century Fox has just delivered a gallery of 12 new pictures from their upcoming twisted tale, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and starring Benjamin Walker in the title role.
The film is an adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith‘s novel of the same name reimagining Lincoln as an axe-throwing, highly trained vampire assassin, promising to give new context to real historical events such as the Civil War and Lincoln’s ascension to the White House. It begins with his mother’s murder when he was still a young boy and his vow of revenge.
The film is set for a June 22 release and along with Walker, co-stars Anthony Mackie, Dominic Cooper, Robin McLeavy, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jimmi Simpson, Erin Wasson, Robin McLeavy, Alan Tudyk and Rufus Sewell.

It’s interesting, to me Walker looks like a young Eric Bana, especially in the pic above.
