Universal just sent over this brand new banner promoting Snow White and the Huntsman starring Kristen Stewart (Twilight) as Snow White, the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the one girl threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) who was dispatched to kill her.
The film is one of two Snow White features hitting theaters next year, but the two carry decidedly different tones. As you can see from this banner alone, Snow White and the Huntsman is going to be a more hard-edged feature whereas Tarsem Singh‘s freshly titled Mirror Mirror is a far more family friendly affair as the images from that film already indicate.
Mirror Mirror will be the first of the two to hit theaters on March 16, 2012 with Snow White and the Huntsman arriving during the summer session on June 1, 2012. Along with Stewart, Theron and Hemsworth, the film also features Sam Claflin, Ian McShane, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Ray Winstone, Lily Cole and Nick Frost.
