I am going to be posting my review of Don’t be Afraid of the Dark later today and I have to tell you, it isn’t a positive one. I am also assuming the film isn’t tracking too well for FilmDistrict to resort to releasing a new red band trailer that not only features the opening scene from the film right from the get go (and really, the only creepy scene in the film), but also destroys any curiosity you may have had as to what the little basement dwelling ghouls look like.
You can look for my review soon, but for now, if you wish to watch the red band trailer go right ahead. After watching it you may wonder if FilmDistrict begged the MPAA for this to be red band, because, just like the film itself (which is a really soft R if you ask me), there’s hardly anything terrifying or gory about it.
