Cannes 2011 Photos: Pictures from Around the City

Today has been a day of relaxation. I was going to see only one film today, but as luck had it, I was able to see it last night leaving me what will be my only day of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival without a movie so I took advantage. I am about to head out the door for drinks and some food with some friends from CinemaTeaser.com, but before I do I thought I would share some photos I took from around the city earlier today giving you a look at some of what this beautiful city has to offer.

As far as the rest of my movie schedule goes, I will have a review of Snowtown for you shortly and the next two days deliver some of the most anticipated films of the festival including Lars von Trier’s Melancholia tomorrow morning followed by The Conquest and then Takashi Miike’s Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai. Then, on my final day here in Cannes I will be seeing Pedro Almodovar’s The Skin I Live In and then end things with Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive on Thursday night.

I hope you’ve been enjoying my coverage, but as you can see it’s not quite done yet. So stay tuned…
