It was Brave. Along with the announcement came a series of pieces of concept art, but none of them gave us a close up look at the lead character’s face. Today I have that look for you of Merida, a character described as “a skilled archer who confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts to discover the true meaning of courage.”

Brave is set for a June 22, 2012 release and directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, featuring the voice talent of Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Craig Ferguson, Robbie Coltrane and Kevin McKidd.
