Gawker (via SlashFilm) posted the following image of John Cusack as Edgar Allan Poe on the set of V for Vendetta helmer James McTeigue’s The Raven.
The film is a fictionalized account of the final five “mysterious” days of Poe’s life. The story will follow the famous writer as he joins the hunt for a serial killer whose murders are inspired by his stories. “It’s like the poem, ‘The Raven,’ itself, crossed with Se7en,” McTeigue said previously.
Co-starring alongside Cusack are Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans) and Alice Eve (She’s Out of My League).
