I don’t know what to think of the upcoming Men in Black III, but it already is beginning to appear as if it is behind the pop culture curve. Just as Betty White is beginning to wear out her welcome, E! Online confirms White, along with the Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, has been cast in the film.
The confirmation comes from Scherzinger who didn’t have information on White’s character, but said of her own role, “My name is Lilly. She’s like a small villain role. I’m so excited because I get to die. I make an appearance. I say a couple of lines and then I die.”
White and Scherzinger join Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Jemaine Clement, Emma Thompson, Sharlto Copley, Gemma Arterton and Alec Baldwin in the third film in the franchise, again to be directed by Barry Sonnenfeld for a May 25, 2012 release.
