Trailer for Mark Romanek’s ‘Never Let Me Go’ Starring Knightley, Mulligan and Garfield

Apple has debuted the first trailer for Mark Romanek’s Never Let Me Go starring Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley, Andrew Garfield, Charlotte Rampling, Sally Hawkins, Nathalie Richard and Andrea Riseborough. Fox Searchlight is set to release the film based on the novel by Kazuo Ishiguro on October 1.

The story is a bit hard to describe without giving away the plot so just be satisfied in me saying it revolves around a trio who grew up in a boarding school with no contact or knowledge of the outside world until they discover a dark reality about their past and future.

This is the film Romanek moved to after bailing on The Wolfman and serves as his first feature film since One Hour Photo in 2002. He’s primarily known for his music videos, but I have already included Never Let Me Go in the RopeofSilicon “The Contenders” section, so let’s see if it lives up to my expectations.
