Rinsch Ready for Logan’s Run Remake: I did not like the original Logan’s Run, but I could see how its story of a future society that demands the death of everyone upon reaching a certain age can be appealing to sci-fi fans, and if done right could actually be a decent movie. Now, Carl Rinsch is attached to direct the remake where the likes of Bryan Singer, Robert Schwentke, Joseph Kosinski and James McTeigue once found their names. Rinsch was once attached to direct the Alien prequel at Fox and, along with Logan’s Run, is also attached to direct 47 Ronin for Universal with Keanu Reeves, though that film has been in development for some time now. Like previous attachments this means very little as Warner Bros. is now going to look for a new writer to adapt William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson’s 1967 novel. [Heat Vision]

Four More Round Out Woody’s Midnight in Paris Cast: Nina Arianda, Mimi Kennedy, Alison Pill and Corey Stoll are the final four cast members announced as joining the cast of Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris, a romantic comedy that follows a family travelling to the city for business. The party includes a young engaged couple that has their lives transformed throughout the journey. The film celebrates a young man’s great love for Paris, and simultaneously explores the illusion people have that a life different from their own is better. The new four join the ensemble cast made up of Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, Carla Bruni, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Michael Sheen, Owen Wilson, Nina Arianda, Kurt Fuller and Tom Hiddleston. The film shoots this summer in Paris.

Sudeikis Cast in Horrible Bosses: “Saturday Night Live” star Jason Sudekis is set to join Seth Green’s Horrible Bosses pitting him alongside Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx. The New Line feature centers on three friends who conspire to murder their awful bosses when they realize they are standing in the way of their happiness. The film is set for a July 29, 2011 release.
