Apple has debuted the trailer and IFC has sent over the poster for Michael Winterbottom’s controversial The Killer Inside Me based on the classic novel by legendary pulp writer Jim Thompson and starring Casey Affleck, Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba. The film has gained quite the reputation for its violence as it tells the story of handsome, unassuming small town sheriff’s deputy Lou Ford (Affleck), whose world cracks – unbridling his own dark urgesa as a sadist, a psychopath… a killer.
