Trailer and Pics for the Sundance Hit ‘The Kids are All Right’

The first trailer for Focus Features’s Sundance aquisition The Kids are All Right has found its way online and is featured directly below. The film stars Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, Mia Wasikowska, Mark Ruffalo and Josh Hutcherson and was an instant hit at Sundance. The story centers on the drama that ensues after two children of a lesbian couple seek out their birth father.

The Kids are All Right recently won the Teddy Award at the Berlin International Film Festival and is set to hit theaters on July 7, which is a bit of a risk by Focus if they hope the film will remain part of the Oscar conversation, but first and foremost it’s supposed to be a great film so I am anxious to give it a watch.

On a side note, I recently saw Bening in Mother and Child and she gives a knock out performance. The film itself is an interesting one and outside of a bit of a so-so ending really is worth a look. Keep an eye out for it as it hits limited theaters on May 7.
