The film the masses will have their eyes on this weekend when they aren’t tuning in to see how Tiger is doing at The Masters is obviously going to be the Tina Fey and Steve Carell comedy Date Night and while the trailers left most people quite skeptical, this film isn’t all that bad. Just keep your expectations right where they are and you should be able to have a good time.

This film is rated PG-13 for sexual and crude content throughout, language, some violence and a drug reference.

For this one all I can recommend is you read my review as well as check out my posting of director Nash Edgerton’s short films. After that you should have a clear cut idea if you are going to go see this one or leave it be.

This film is rated NR

“Steve” made a fascinating comment in Laremy’s Box-Office Oracle post yesterday saying, “Props to Vivendi Entertainment for getting 897 theaters for Letters to God. Apparition could not get anything close with The Runaways.” Think about that for a second. Is a religious themed film really a better gamble than a music themed film starring Twilight star Kristen Stewart? Apparition has only released The Runaways in a grand total of 244 theaters so I guess the numbers don’t lie. Kirk Cameron’s Christian-friendly film Fireproof recently made $33 million at the domestic box-office, will Letters to God follow suit?

This film is rated PG for thematic material.

I don’t know anything about this movie. I have never received an email from a publicist and other than knowing it is being released in 41 theaters this weekend the trailer is really all I have to offer you.

This film is rated R for nudity, disturbing images, language and brief sexuality.
