Pretty much all films must rely on at least one generic and/or cliche moment, catchphrase, plot twist and/or character development at one point or another. It’s what comes from condensing a lengthy amount of time into a two hour movie effectively, but I must say I enjoyed this mock trailer titled “Academy Award Winning Movie Trailer” from BriTANick an awful lot as it makes fun of just about every convention you can possibly think of, except no signal, but that was already covered.
