Small bit of news year, but at the Comic Con panel for The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman, Oldman was asked about Batman 3 and replied saying:
“I think the next Batman is next year. We start shooting next year for a release in two years. You didn’t hear that from me.”
He said it with some serious conviction, but it seems a strange way to get the word out. Who knows if there will be an official confirmation later on, but I will have the video of the exact quote in my Warner Bros. panel wrap-up later tonight.
