Brief update here considering weekend estimates had Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs tied for the weekend top spot with $42.5 million each. While a complete list of weekend actuals have yet to arrive, both Variety and The Hollywood Reporter have confirmed Revenge of the Fallen took the weekend crown with roughly $42.4 million from 4,234 runs, while Ice Age grossed $41.6 million from 4,099 runs, according to preliminary numbers released Monday morning.
