A while back there was a piece of art floating around that had a very rough look to it and was said to be a piece of teaser art for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. Today the Weinstein Co. has sent over an official piece of art that boils down to the title treatment over clouds. Exciting eh?
Below is the new and official teaser art (click here for a larger version) as well as the old one. I really like the original one, which I was never clear if it was fan made or what, but I will say the blood spatter on the title reminds me of the red paint from Shyamalan’s The Village, not sure why. You be the judge.
Inglourious Bastereds is expected to debut at Cannes in May and then in theaters on August 21.
