Spoil 60 Seconds of ‘Wolverine’ With Part One of Three Narrative TV Spots

As I was watching The International last week I was reminded why I no longer watch clips and do my best not to watch trailers as they do nothing but ruin the experience of walking into something completely fresh. The best part of The International was the shoot-out at the Guggenheim and after it was over I remembered I had uploaded a 4:30 minute clip from the film titled “Guggenheim Scene” and sure enough, there it was, the entire scene. Online clips, teaser trailers, promo trailers, theatrical trailers, international trailers and TV spots have grown in such abundance recently it’s to the point where there is very little left to reveal in the theaters; at least certainly less than there would have been. With that in mind we have Fox’s latest unveiling of three :60 second TV spots for X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the first aired tonight during “Family Guy” and the next will air on Monday during “House” (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and the third will air Tuesday during “American Idol” (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox.

The first is titled “Outcasts” and supposedly the three spots will work together to form some sort of a narrative. Following Tuesday’s TV spot all three will be released on Yahoo! but for now we have to live with the less than stellar versions below.

If you choose to watch, then have it at, but I can tell you I know going into The Dark Knight without having seen a single trailer for it made seeing it for the first time that much better.
