I was not prepared for this week’s DVD and Blu-ray list, primarily because I forgot not only were studios releasing titles today but also on the 19th and 21st in a final Christmas push. There are A LOT of Blu-ray titles in this week’s edition as Paramount unleashes an onslaught of catalog titles as you will see right off the bat and then Criterion also takes their first nose dive into Blu-ray this week with a selection of four titles. Then you have the usual new releases which come on DVD as well as with Blu-ray counterparts.
As usual, clicking on the Buy Now links will take you to Amazon and show you the selection of all the versions of each film you can buy. For example, with The Mummy movies not only will it link to the DVD and Blu-ray versions, but also the Mummy trilogy box sets.
