In the interview J.J. talks about Shatner talking to him via YouTube and asks, “When did that become my life?”
Will there be a Shatner response to this? We can only hope.
In other news Abrams also recently addressed the current tendency to make superhero films so long such as The Dark Knight and the recent news on Watchmen‘s running time by saying, “[Star Trek] will be a two-hour movie. I’m sick of these two hours and 45 minute movies. Seriously, it’s like I don’t have enough time to stay two hours and 45 minutes. I’m exhausted just saying that twice. I can’t stand it.”
