‘The House Bunny’ is about Hot Dogs and Manholes

Come on, let’s face it, the majority of people heading out to see The House Bunny are going to be girls. I have no idea what age group will be going, but my guess would be teen girls. Yeah, I know with Anna Faris playing an ex-Playboy Bunny there is potential for guys to get all excited in the trousers, but I don’t think it will be enough to get them in the theaters. Looking at the trailers so far this looks to be something of a one note film that will walk the line of average. If I had to guess it will fall just on the positive side of average with enough cute moments to satisfy, but cliche nonetheless.

Recently Sony released a batch of clips from the film and the majority of them were your average extensions from the trailer, so I grabbed two that were good because they helped with the sexually suggestive headline and another because it has to do with The Exorcist. Yeah, random, I know, but what can I do?

The first clip below actually gave me a laugh at the very end is titled “Hot Dogs” and I actually had a laugh at the end of it when the guy says, “Woah.” Maybe it is a late night and I should get some rest, but I had a laugh. The other two titled “Manhole” and “Exorcist” can be found right here, both are just extended sequences from the trailer.

The House Bunny hits theaters on August 22 and is offering up counter-programming to Death Race. Hmmmm, guys driving cars and killing people or an ex-Playboy Bunny making nice on a college campus? Tell yah what, if The House Bunny wasn’t rated PG-13 this would be a much harder decision to make.
