Harrison Ford Set for Crowley: Harrison Ford has found his Indiana Jones follow-up in the form of the CBS Films feature Crowley, which Tom Vaughan (What Happens in Vegas) is in negotiations to direct. Crowley is based on the true story of John and Aileen Crowley, whose two children had a rare genetic disorder. Rather than give up hope that nothing could help his children, John Crowley found a researcher (Ford) with a potential cure. Ford also will executive produce the film. Ford will next be seen in the immigration feature Crossing Over (a film Debbie Schlussel has been hammering for almost a year now). [Variety]
Tamblyn Heads to TV: Amber Tamblyn and Morris Chestnut will be taking to the idiot box as the two have signed a deal to star in the pilot episode of a new ABC dramedy called “The Unusuals.” The show is set at a New York police precinct. Tamblyn will play Detective Casey Shraeger, a smart cop who also is the black sheep of her wealthy family. [THR]
