Lindsay Lohan is Having a Fake Baby

Lindsay’s Labor Pains: First up we have news that Lindsay Lohan is determined not to fade into the abyss, but it isn’t as if she is toplining a Disney rom-com. Nope, this is a Nu Image/Millennium Films Overnight Productions and if that isn’t a mouthful then I don’t know what is. The film she will be starring in is Labor Pains in which she will play an assistant, working in a stuffy publishing house, who pretends to be pregnant in a desperate attempt to keep her nasty boss from firing her. Lara Shapiro is directing; Chris Parnell, Cheryl Hines, Luke Kirby and Connie Britton also star. [Variety]

Gosling Reteams with Lars Helmer: Ryan Gosling is set to reteam with Craig Gillespie in the Universal Pictures drama The Dallas Buyers Club from a rewrite by Chase Palmer from a script penned earlier by Craig Borten and Melissa Wallach. The film tells the true story of Ron Woodroof, a tough Texas electrician who was diagnosed with AIDS in 1986 and given six months to live. Frustrated with the lack of available medical options and unwilling to accept a death sentence, Woodroof found a lifeline using alternative drugs and created a lucrative smuggling business that made those drugs available to AIDS patients. Woodroof died in 1992. [Variety]

One More Joins Stone’s W: Jesse Bradford is set to join the cast of W playing Thatcher, president of Bush’s fraternity and a college buddy of George W. Bush (Josh Brolin). [THR]

Bell Still Can’t Find Solid Work: After being the best (and only good) thing in What Happens In Vegas and having to settle for Over Her Dead Body, Lake Bell still can’t find an actual solid piece and is now joining the cast of A Good Old Fashioned Orgy. Based solely on the title it is hard to believe this will be a mainstream hit and gain Bell the attention she deserves. I am not saying she is an A-list actress, but I am saying that if Cameron Diaz can topline a film she surely can too. [THR]

Mac and Will Join Madagascar 2: Three new names have been added to the Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa cast in the form of Bernie Mac, Sherri Shepherd and Will.i.am. If you are interested, USA Today has a new pic from the film here.

Moore Remaking Capricorn One: John Moore recently finished directing Max Payne for 20th Century Fox and his next gig will be a remake of the 1978 thriller Capricorn One. Peter Buchman penned the screenplay, which is described as an updated, reimagining of the story that revolves around a group of astronauts of an aborted mission to Mars. The original starred Elliot Gould and James Brolin. [Variety]
