Nice week for The Oracle. Nice weekend too actually, I slept in until 11am today. The only thing that got me moving was the knowledge that my dozens and dozens of fans were waiting. Yep, it’s all about you people.
#1 movie predicted correctly: 7 Week In A Row
That’s a purty prediction. The parents of the world came through. Now if only we could get them to care about education… then we’d be set!

2. 10,000 B.C.
I was a bit heavy here, it bled 54% instead of 52%. In oracling that two percent makes all the difference.

Another thing of beauty. I read a few sites that were hating on this one but I leaned back, smoked my pipe and thought… “They are wrong.” Which means, by default, that I was right.

My first miss of the weekend. My thought process was that this would sink like a stone. I was wrong. Either that or Horton run-off propped it up somehow. Either way it’s a disappointment.

Where is Doomsday? That’s what is causing all this mess. Did no one want to see it? Just for that I’m not putting the name in all caps anymore. Jerks.

6. The Bank Job
The dreaded “one slot off” virus is spreading. The Bank Job has only mustered $13.1m so far. That can’t be good.

7. Doomsday
I truly wasn’t that far off on the dollars but I was around $1000 off per theater which is quite a bit when the movie made only $2500 per. Lesson: No one wants to hear about Doomsday. Except crazy folk… and most of them don’t have enough money to see a movie with.

8. Semi-Pro
Back on track! I feel really bad for Semi-Pro. I feel even worse that my boss saw it based on my recommendation and hated it. In other news I’ve started working on my resume.
