Fincher to Direct Gaiman and Avary’s ‘Black Hole’

David Fincher is directing a romance? Well, sort of, it’s a horror romance and it was written by Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman, the duo behind Beowulf.

The film is called Black Hole and it is an adaptation of a graphic novel by Charlie Burns, the story follows a group of high school students whose lives are altered drastically when they come in contact with a sexually transmitted disease called the “teen plague” or “the bug.”

Unfortunately there is no word on whether or not it will be his next flick and Fincher has a lot in the hopper. On top of Black Hole he has Torso, The Devil in the White City and The Killer. Which one of the four he will direct once he is over and done with this year’s Paramount release The Curious Case of Benjamin Button starring Brad Pitt is unknown.

The pic below is a page from the novel, you can find plenty more looks right here, some of which are not safe for work.
