Why I am writing about this I really don’t know, but what the hell, a few of you people may be such large fans of Jerry Bruckheimer that you care about everyone that gets involved in anything his hand touches. Well, get prepared for the live-action/animated mix known as G-Force directed by first timer Hoyt Yeatman.
Who’s starring in this little flick? Why Nicolas Cage, Steve Buscemi and Tracy Morgan have just landed the lead voice roles and word out of The Hollywood Reporter is that Bill Nighy, Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Kelli Garner, Gabriel Casseus and Jack Conley will take on some live action, real world acting roles.
The film is already underway in Los Angeles and follows a group of ultra-intelligent animal commandoes who work for a government agency trying to prevent an evil billionaire from taking over the world. Cage will play Speckles, a mole; Buscemi will portray Bucky, a hamster; and Morgan will voice Blaster, a guinea pig. Nighy will portray an industrialist, and Arnett will play an FBI agent.
The film is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2009.
