This week it was said in the Daily Mail that Tim Burton had been ordered to cut down on the gore in his film version of Sweeney Todd, a movie that features killing and meat pies in league with one another. Well, I went off on the whole situation right here and now it looks like the whole thing may have been blown a little out of porportion as Anne Thompson at Variety says that the issue of cutting back the violence is “wild rumors.” While I still hold to everything I said in my article I think this is good news.
Outside of all that, we also have seen a new poster surface on the Net and we hadn’t had a really good look at it until I just received this latest look in my Inbox. It is still a little shitty in quality, but I think it does the trick.
