LatinoReview is at it again and this time they say they have the name of the next man to play the role of the Punisher in The Punisher 2 to be directed by Lexi Alexander. The man that has apparently taken on the role is Ray Stevenson who played Dagonet in 2004’s King Arthur and is currently playing Titus Pullo on HBO’s “Rome.”
Stevenson takes over the role after Thomas Jane dropped out as the film lingered in development hell.
Not a lot is known about the story other than the fact that the Punisher is set to be going up against Jigsaw.
I expect this casting to be reported once again next week in the trades, at which time hopefully we will get more on the story.
