If B-level star power is what you desire then The Other Side may be for you as Brittany Murphy, Jason Lee, Giovanni Ribisi, Jim Broadbent, Tim Roth and Lili Taylor have signed on to star for director David Michaels. Of course when I say B-level that has everything to do with status, because these are some great names to be making up the cast of a movie.
The film was written by Michaels and Phil Reeves and centers on a young grad student, to be portrayed by Murphy, who must spend the summer working at a scientific institute on a remote northern island. She discovers an eccentric community of characters who are hiding a secret about a terrible tragedy that took place many years before.
Filming is scheduled to begin in Nova Scotia in November.
