I am anxiously awaiting the movie that will once again show audiences how funny Will Arnett can be. His talent is wasted on mindless crap such as Let’s Go To Prison and it doesn’t look like it is going to get any better with movies such as Blades of Glory, The Brothers Solomon and Semi-Pro on the horizon. Arnett is a smart comedian, not a bumbling one.
However, perhaps he believes he is as he actually put in work on his newest script, Space Invader, which has found its way to genre arm Fox Atomic.
The film is described as a space station-set story that centers on a love triangle. Obviously with the latest goings on and the goofy nature of NASA astronaut Lisa Novak it didn’t hurt this film’s chances of getting made, but Variety is sure to make a point in their article that the script was in the works months before Novak’s arrest following her cross-country diaper trip as she set out to allegedly murder a woman she believed was her rival for a Space Shuttle pilot. Trust me, I never thought I would be able to mention that in an article. I am now happy.
