Portman Wants to be Hottest Director Ever

Perhaps the above headline is a bit misleading considering Natalie Portman made no such statement although I would never assume that Natalie does not realize her own level of hotness and in fact if she did direct a movie I would proclaim her the hottest director ever. However, Natalie is apparently eyeing a possible director chair for a film version of Israeli writer Amos Oz’s internationally acclaimed autobiography, “A Tale of Love and Darkness,” her spokesman said on Thursday.

Portman would likely also star in the film as Jerusalem Capital Studios spokesman Danny Levy told Reuters, “JCS has met with Portman to discuss the possibility of her participating in and directing a film version of the book.

The book describes Oz’s upbringing in Jerusalem amid the fighting during which the Jewish state was founded. Israeli media said Portman was interested in playing Oz’s mother, who committed suicide when the author was a youth.

The Jerusalem born actress speaks Hebrew and this would mark her first time in the directorial chair.

Natalie will next be seen in The Other Boleyn Girl opposite Scarlett Johansson. Othe upcoming releases include Goya’s Ghosts and Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium.
