Personally I am excited to see Renee Zellweger taking on a horror flick as she is set to star in Case 39 for Paramount Pictures. So, while this news may not necessarily be confirmed as of yet word on a director and the film moving forward is interesting to me.
Apparently the German director Christian Alvart is in talks to direct the film, which is actually set to begin filming this summer in Vancouver.
The pic was penned by Ray Wright and centers on a social worker who saves an abused girl from her parents, but later discovers things are not as they seem.
Yeah, not a lot to go on, but I am interested to see if Zellweger can pull it off.
As for Alvart’s credits, I am unfamiliar with any of his work.
