What is going on with Eddie Murphy? Does anyone remember the old Eddie Murphy anymore? The Eddie Murphy that starred in Beverly Hills Cop, dressed in purple leather for Raw and made us laugh our asses off in Coming to America. Where did that Eddie Murphy go?!?! What the hell is up with all these family films?
Whatever the story is, I have yet another pile to attach Eddie to, Starship Dave for helmer Peter Segal.
The film is about a crew of miniature human-looking aliens who are seeking a way to save their doomed world.
Why not just call it The Adventures of Pluto Nash 2, credit it with $4 million in box-office take and forget about it?
It is also no surprise that the director behind last year’s atrocious remake of The Longest Yard is helming this one. That film may have made money, but I think we can all agree it was a stinker.
