The Coen boys are at it again as they are readying a film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s No Country for Old Men reports Variety.
The film will begin lensing this May in New Mexico and Texas with Tommy Lee Jones and Javier Bardem in talks to headline what is expected to be a strong ensemble cast.
Ethan Coen penned the script with his brother Joel who will be directing the feature, which is set in West Texas in 1980. The story is about a young Vietnam vet who stumbles over the remnants of a drug deal gone bad. He’s hunted by two extremely vicious assassins who want the money back.
