Two Nips of Casting

Variety is reporting that Julian McMahon has just landed a role opposite Sandra Bullock in Premonition for German helmer Mennan Yapo for Columbia TriStar and MGM.

The film is scheduled to begin shooting in January. Pic revolves around a woman (Bullock) who has a premonition that her husband (McMahon) will die in a car crash and sets out to prevent it.

McMahon is best known as Dr. Christian Troy from the hit TV series “Nip/Tuck” but other will also recognize him as Victor Von Doom from Fantastic Four

Our second bit of casting involves Anjelica Huston as she has just found herself a new role opposite Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson in the period drama Seraphim Falls for Mel Gibson and Bruce Davey’s Icon Prods. and helmer David Von Ancken.

The film is set at the end of the Civil War and is described as a psychological actioner centering around Carver (Neeson), an army colonel, as he vows to hunt down and kill a man named Gideon (Brosnan) to settle a wartime grudge.

Von Ancken wrote the script with Abbey Everett Jaques. Huston is heading out to New Mexico next week to film her portion of the picture, but as for her role in the film that is being kept quiet.
