Braff and Peet Flick On the ‘Fast Track’

Bob and Harvey Weinstein are no Disney-less and with the news are ready to roll as their new production company, WeinsteinCo, has set Zach Braff and Amanda Peet to star in the upcoming comedy Fast Track.

Production is set to begin in July down in La La Land with Jesse Peretz directing.

The film centers on an underachiever who is forced to take a job he doesn’t want — working for his father-in-law — after his wife becomes pregnant and quits her high-paying job.

Peretz is also directing Peet in Snow Angels along with Sam Rockwell and Emily Mortimer. Angels is adapted from the novel by Stewart O’Nan, the story interweaves the life of a teenager, Arthur, with his one-time baby sitter Annie (Mortimer), who is struggling with a young daughter and her estranged husband, Glenn (Rockwell).
