Thanks to a RopeofSilicon.com reader we learn that casting has begun for two of the children’s roles in Tim Burton’s upcoming remake of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory down in Houston, Texas.
The two roles people were auditioning for were Violet Beauregarde and Mike Teevee and here is what our reader had to say:
Just writing to let you know my 14 yr. old daughter Danielle Kirkpatrick who is signed with Actors Ect. auditioned for the part of Violet in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory today at the Wingate Hotel in Houston TX. She was seen by Marty Cherrix the casting director and was told she was amazing. We are keeping our fingers crossed for good news!
