Secret Window is based on the Stephen King short story “Secret Window, Secret Garden” from “Four Past Midnight”. Johnny Depp stars as Mort Rainey (Depp), recently divorced, depressed, and alone on the shore of Tashmore Lake. Alone, that is, until a figure named John Shooter (Turturro) arrives, pointing an accusing finger.
