Linda Cardellini Scooby’s Doo’s “Velma” spoke with Los Angeles Daily News about the upcoming Scooby sequel Monsters Unleashed.
The star is already signed on for a third installment of teh doggy detective series and said that she was more or less a stranger the first time around.
“The first movie, I was a stranger to everyone. The second time it was like old home week. It allowed for a lot more freedom,” Linda notes. In “Scooby 2,” “My character has a love interest played by Seth Green. He’s a museum curator, and she is just so in love and scared. She has to deal with her fear of intimacy along with solving the crime, and, of course, he becomes a suspect.”
The young actress is also a star on NBC’s ER and she has also fallen into her comfort zone there with nine episodes left to shoot for the season. “I was a little nervous at first, but you’re not a stranger for long on this set. There’s not much time for feeling like an outcast when you work so closely in those trauma scenes with seven people doing seven different things at the same time.”
