Sobini Films’ Mark Amin is making an English-language version of Korean-Japanese melodrama A Moment to Remember at CBS Films, reports Variety.
Sobini has a first-look deal with Lionsgate, where Amin is chairman and a major investor. CBS Films stepped in after Lionsgate turned down the pic.
The screenplay, which revolves around learning to live with Alzheimer’s disease, is to be written by Erin Brockovich scribe Susannah Grant.
