Landau, Burstyn, Banks & Scott are Lovely Still

Martin Landau, Ellen Burstyn, Elizabeth Banks and Adam Scott are starring in Lovely Still, the feature directorial debut of newcomer Nik Fackler.

The script, written by Fackler, is a holiday fable that tells the story of an elderly grocery store bagger (Landau) who discovers love for the first time. Burstyn is the woman he falls for, while Banks plays her daughter. Scott is the store owner.

The film is being produced by Lars Knudsen and Jay Van Hoy of New York-based Parts and Labor and Dana Altman of Omaha, Neb.-based Northsea Films.

The film is executive produced by Jack Turner of White Buffalo Entertainment, James Lawler and Virgil Price of Sterling Productions and Ian McGloin of Liminality Pictures. Shooting is under way in Omaha.
