Step Up 2 the Streets, the sequel to Touchstone Pictures/Summit Entertainment’s Step Up, has announced its cast along with a MySpace talent competition where the winner might appear in the film.
Briana Evigan, Robert Hoffman, Telisha Shaw and Adam G. Sevani will star, along with singer-model-actress Cassie, who will sing a song featured in the film and on the soundtrack.
Jon Chu will direct the sequel to the coming-of-age dance film. Set at the Maryland School of the Arts, the story follows revolves around dance student Patrick (Hoffman) and rebellious new student Andie (Evigan).
