Phedon Papamichael is set to direct From Within, an independently financed thriller that will star Thomas Dekker (“Heroes”), Elizabeth Rice, Adam Goldberg and Jake Weber.
Brad Keene (The Gravedancers) wrote the script. Production begins next month in Maryland.
Set in a small, God-fearing town, the story focuses on a young girl caught between her Christian upbringing and a desire to experience the outside world. Her desire to break free is amplified when residents begin to die suspiciously.
Papamichael was the cinematographer of such films as Walk the Line, The Pursuit of Happyness and the James Mangold-directed 3:10 to Yuma.
