Tom Holland‘s Uncharted is preparing to reach a wider streaming audience with a new platform debut. The video game adaptation is set to make its way to Prime Video next month. The addition comes ahead of the release of Holland’s summer blockbuster Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Tom Holland’s Uncharted is set to arrive on Prime Video next month. According to TV Guide, the 2022 video game adaptation will join the streaming platform on July 1, 2026, giving subscribers another opportunity to rewatch the box office hit.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, Uncharted was released in the United States on February 18, 2022. Adapted from the popular video game franchise of the same name, the film follows Nathan Drake, a young New York City bartender who is unexpectedly pulled into a worldwide treasure hunt after meeting veteran treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan.
Sully, who once worked with Nathan’s missing older brother Sam, recruits him to search for the fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan that disappeared 500 years earlier with the House of Moncada. Though Nathan is initially reluctant to trust Sully, he agrees to join the expedition in hopes that it may also lead him to Sam.
The film stars Holland as Nathan “Nate” Drake, Mark Wahlberg as Victor “Sully” Sullivan, Antonio Banderas as Santiago Moncada, Sophia Ali as Chloe Frazer, Tati Gabrielle as Jo Braddock, and Rudy Pankow as Samuel “Sam” Drake among others.
While Uncharted received mixed reviews from critics, it proved to be a solid hit at the box office. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a 41 percent score from critics based on 265 reviews. Meanwhile, the audience response was significantly stronger with an 89 percent audience rating.
According to Box Office Mojo, Uncharted grossed approximately $407 million worldwide. This includes about $149 million from domestic theaters and roughly $258 million from international markets.
