The Sopranos & MCU Stars Cast in New Mob Movie Brick City, More Details Revealed

Brownstone Films has officially announced the main cast for its upcoming mob movie, titled Brick City. It includes three former cast members from HBO’s acclaimed show The Sopranos, as well as one star from a popular Marvel TV show.

“The film features a mob associate, whose life-changing decision with his loving daughter sets the action in motion. The story centers on the aftermath of their choice and the difficult line between family, loyalty, and the demands of their criminal world,” reads the initial synopsis.

Who is joining the Brick City cast?

Brick City will be led by The Sopranos stars Paul Borghese and Al Sapienza, who have been tapped to play Johnny Bricks and Frank DeRocco, respectively. Also set for one of the leading roles is rising actress Victoria Rooney (Truth Slash Fiction) as Grace Trasmundi. This new mob movie will also reunite Borghese and Sapienza with another fellow The Sopranos star, Kathrina Miccio, who has been tapped for a supporting role. Rounding out the cast are Regina Schneider (The Blacklist), Kelvin McGrue (Luke Cage), and Hal Miers (Blue Bloods).

  • Borghese’s John “Johnny Bricks” Trasmundi is a low-level mob associate whose past mistakes make him and his daughter the ultimate target for crime boss Frank DeRocco.

  • Rooney’s Grace Trasmundi is the loving teen daughter of Mob Associate John “Johnny Bricks” Trasmundi, who is faced with a life-changing decision that puts her in danger.

Brick City is written and directed by Jack Foley, serving as his debut narrative feature. Production has already wrapped in New Jersey. It is executive-produced by Foley and Dave Musolf, with Rooney producing. It is a production by Brownstone Films. The creative team consists of cinematographer Jake Simpson and composer Eric Browne.
