John McTiernan will direct Run, a $30 million action-thriller to star Karl Urban (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, The Bourne Supremacy), reports Variety.
Urban plays an Interpol agent who, while pursuing a murder suspect, uncovers a fraud conspiracy. The action film’s script reportedly has 100 pages of car chases. The movie will start filming in August and post in London.
The producers are Michael Pierce and Mark Williams; the executive producer is Future Films topper Stephen Margolis.
