Ed Burns will star in 27 Dresses for Fox 2000 and Spyglass, reports Variety.
Burns joins Katherine Heigl, James Marsden and Malin Akerman in the comedy to be directed by Anne Fletcher. Shooting begins this summer.
Heigl plays a perennial bridesmaid who, after planning many weddings for friends, is drafted by her sister, who’s marrying the man with whom the bridesmaid is in love. Burns plays the groom.
Burns just completed One Missed Call, the Warner Bros. remake of the Japanese horror film Chakushin Ari.
