Philip Berk, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, announced the timetable for “The 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards” to be telecast Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 8-11 PM (EST) live from the Beverly Hilton on NBC.
Key dates are as follows:
Thursday, October 18, 2007 – Final screening date for Television entries
Friday, October 19, 2007 – Final date for press conferences for Television entries
Friday, November 9, 2007 – Deadline for submission of Golden Globe entry forms
Wednesday, November 14, 2007 – 9 a.m. Cecil B. DeMille/Miss Golden Globe Announcement
Friday, November 30, 2007 – Deadline for nomination ballots to be mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
Wednesday, December 5, 2007 – Final screening date for Motion Pictures
Thursday, December 6, 2007 – Final date for Motion Picture press conferences
Monday, December 10, 2007 – Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of nomination ballots
Thursday, December 13, 2007 – 5:00 a.m. Nomination announcement of the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards
Friday, December 14, 2007 – Deadline for receipt of media credential applications
Wednesday, December 26, 2007 – Final ballots mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
Wednesday, January 2, 2008 – Deadline for receipt of publicist credential applications
Wednesday, January 9, 2008 – Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of final ballots
Sunday, January 13, 2008 – Presentation of “The 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards” Live telecast on NBC Television at 8 p.m. EST
“The 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards” will be seen in more than 150 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. The special will be produced by dick clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
