Rob Schneider is in talks to join frequent collaborator Adam Sandler in Columbia Pictures’ You Don’t Mess With the Zohan, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Written by Judd Apatow, Robert Smigel and Sandler, the story centers on a Mossad agent (Sandler) who fakes his death so he can move to New York and become a hair stylist. Schneider’s character is described as an East Yistannen cab driver.
Shooting will begin in the summer in Los Angeles and New York for a summer 2008 release.
Sandler’s Sony-based Happy Madison is producing.
