Jeremy Renner Revealed He ‘Died’ After Snowplow Accident, Claims Co-Star

Jeremy Renner is returning to the screen after recovering from a snowplow accident. Per his representatives, he “suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” after being run over by a snowcat on January 1, 2023.

But one of the actor’s co-stars from the show Mayor of Kingstown has recently revealed that the extent of Renner’s injuries may have been even more serious than previously thought.

Jeremy Renner’s heart stopped beating for a while after snowplow accident

Michael Beach, who plays Captain Kareem on Mayor of Kingstown, recently shared what Jeremy Renner told him about his accident. Having broken 38 bones, Renner was clinically dead as his heart stopped beating for a moment after being run over by the snowcat.

Speaking with The Direct’s Russ Milheim in an interview, Beach praised Renner and said:

“Jeremy [Renner] is a war horse, man. I mean that guy, you know, he broke 38 bones. He actually died, which I didn’t know until he told me, and he’s been coming back. And he says he wasn’t sure how it would be. But he was ready.”

Beach spoke more about Renner’s remarkable recovery, saying he is better now and “feels stronger and stronger” every week. Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 will stream on Paramount+ soon.

Following Mayor of Kingstown Season 3, Renner doesn’t have a lot of projects lined up. But he is expected to make a comeback as Clint Barton in the MCU at some point in the future, with two more Avengers projects currently on the slate.

In February, Renner also confirmed that he’d be willing to return to the MCU. He said he’s “always game,” and is “going to be strong enough.” He concluded by saying, “If they want me, they could have me.”
